On Friday, 28th February 2025, Karachi Education Society’s schools celebrated National Science Day to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by physicist Sir C.V. Raman. The celebration was marked by a Science Exhibition at K.E.S Gurukul, held at the Indoor Play Area, commencing at 11:00 am.

The exhibition showcased innovative projects from various houses, covering multiple scientific subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Earth Science. Participants explained their projects in detail, highlighting the scientific concepts behind them and their real-world applications.

The students of Karachi Education Society’s Navin Hind High School and Junior College presented a memorable display of working models, charts, AI-operated machines, and websites based on scientific principles. The students enthusiastically demonstrated their models, explaining the underlying scientific theories and principles to visiting authorities, principals, and teachers from schools across Pune.

Esteemed guests, including Dean Mr. Suresh Peshwani, Principal of Navin Hind School and Junior College Mrs. Kavita Deshpande, and senior staff members Mrs. Jyoti Pawar and Mr. Tejwani, attended the event to evaluate the Science Projects. Parents were also impressed by the students’ confidence and presentation skills.

The event featured attractive rangolis on scientific topics, created by students from all classes and sections, showcasing their creativity and thought-provoking ideas. Former retired teachers and present students from all classes and sections were also invited to visit the exhibition.

The success of the event was attributed to the guidance and support of Mr. Deepak Ramnani, Hon. Secretary, KES, Mr. Peshwani, Dean, KES, Mr. Pawar, Manager, KES, and the school’s principal, headmistress, supervisor, and teachers.

The celebration embodied the school’s mission to facilitate holistic development, enabling students to explore their strengths and reach their full potential. By enhancing students’ scientific knowledge and encouraging teamwork, confidence, and competitive spirit, the event left students motivated and inspired to continue their journey in the field of science.
